Council tax

C(APD) and home Haemodialysis Patients who use a specific room for treatment are entitled to have this room omitted from their Council Tax evaluation and allows them a discount. Many patients are not aware of this, and it may drop your  council tax a whole band. You can check this out with your local Councl, Citizens Advice Bureau, or Social Work dept.
